Series Overview

Orphaned brothers Gu Xiao and Ling Yao, separated in their youth, reunite in a small overseas town. Gu Xiao, entrenched in the underworld, secretly raises money to build a welfare home for orphans; computer genius Ling Yao sees through the vast gray industry behind it and feigns involvement to assist his brother. The two navigate various factions, averting numerous life-or-death crises, but as estrangement and conflict grow, they never truly let go of each other. The brothers patiently plot and secretly gather comprehensive evidence of the illegal profits of the masterminds, setting themselves up to cooperate with law enforcement and completely dismantle the long-standing gray profit chain, upholding their childhood bond of companionship and mutual redemption in the face of darkness.
