Treevenge
Synopsis
Treevenge details the experiences and horrifying reality of the lives of Christmas trees. Clearly, for trees, Christmas isn’t the exciting “peace on earth” that is experienced by most. After being hacked down, and shipped away from their homes, they quickly become strung up, screwed into an upright position for all to see, exposed in a humiliation of garish decorations. But this Christmas will be different, this Christmas the trees have had enough, this Christmas the trees will fight back. Treevenge could be a short film about the end of days for Christmas trees, or perhaps, the end of humanity?

Once again it's time to start a list showing every movie I watch this year. As is my wont, I always ask a friend to come up with the name for the list and this year it's the turn of my doddy Cheeks letterboxd.com/cheeksdabelly/ . He gets the honour of naming this list because he turns 100 years old this year. So here are the movies I watched in 2018. Silent Fright
'Tis the season… for terror! These bloody yuletide tales take holiday cheer to the darkest depths, with killer Santas, twisted carols, and enough gore to stain the snow red. It's festive as hell—just the way Krampus intended!
