Trusiana
“So' fantasie.”
Synopsis
It is the late 1800s. Trusiana is a young woman living in the countryside of a small village. Having become pregnant at a very young age, she is thrown out of her home. A victim of gossip and judgmental stares, the main character leads a life in solitude working as a laundress and as a laborer on construction sites. Her evening reading moments and fleeting conversations in the woods with the young carpenter Antonio seem to be the only escape from an oppressing reality. The fragile balance Trusiana has found will be tested by Carmela, a woman from the popular class. Tensions, jealousies and disappointments will generate a irreversible point of no return.
