Kubrick’s War tells the extraordinary, untold story behind Stanley Kubrick’s iconic 1987 film Full Metal Jacket—a production defined by obsession, conflict, innovation and artistic brilliance. Built around over 30 new interviews with cast and crew members, including Matthew Modine, Vincent D’Onofrio and Arliss Howard, this feature documentary takes audiences inside Kubrick’s fiercely demanding creative process. At its heart are newly uncovered, previously unheard audio interviews with Kubrick himself, alongside never-before-released recordings of the director rehearsing with the film’s actors at Pinewood Studios in 1986.
